After opening the air fryer, setting it up and following instructions, I washed the basket first as instructed. The first thing I cooked was bacon and although taste was better than normal according to my mom and dughter, I was concerned about burning plastic smell. Unfortunately, when I took bacon out, it had all piled up at one end, even after flipping and realigning them. The second thing I tried making was tortilla chips but they either didn't crisp up or came out too dark. A little disappointed with the first two things I made!
